INTERNET SAFETY
Within Internet Explorer it is possible to password protect certain websites. This can provide some protection against children visiting inappropriate websites. It is NOT a totally secure method, as other browsers (such as Firefox) can be used to bypass the facility. It can probably a useful method for safety with younger children.
To enable the password protection the following action and ‘tabs’ need to be ‘left-clicked’
1. Open Internet Explorer
2. “Tools”
3. “Internet Options
4. “Content”
5. “Enable” (enter a password and ‘hint’
6. “Settings” ? “Approved Sites” ? “Add or Remove”
